WVSD is happy to announce it's joint venture with USSSA Fastpitch. This year we are pleased to announce we will join with Eastern Pa and New Jersey to make our competition even larger. Our in house leagues will begin Saturday, Nov 5, 2011. League play will be a 12 game season in 8 weeks with teams that travel able to request all double headers to cut down on travel. WVSD held an organizational and sign up meeting at the Dome Tuesday, Sept 13, 2011 at 7:00pm. If you didn't attend or send a rep, teams should make arrangements to register ASAP as we are getting flooded with new calls from Lehigh Valley and the Williamsport area and certain age groups are almost sold out. Ages offered will start at 10-U and go thru high school. The first tournament is scheduled for the Thanksgiving weekend and will be USSSA sanctioned. Additional tournaments will be scheduled for Dec 10/11 & 31st... Jan 21/22 & 28/29...Feb 11/12 & 17/18/19...Mar 3/4 & 10/11 & 17/18 & 24/25... WVSD is pleaased to announce it will be teaming up with Jerry Greeley to develop its Winter Little League Baseball program. Jerry is presently a coach in the Baltimore Orioles farm system as well as head baseball coach at King's College. Our in house leagues will begin Saturday, Nov 5, 2011. League play will be a 12 game season in 8 weeks with teams that travel able to request all double headers to cut down on travel. WVSD held an organizational and sign up meeting at the Dome Tuesday, Sept 20, 2011 at 7:00 pm. If you didn't attend or send a rep, teams should make arrangements to register ASAP to guarantee a spot as ages are near full. Ages offered will be 10 and under or 10 thru 12. Ages will be based on the season which just ended this summer. The league will be an instructional league and no scores or standings kept. Teams can change rules before each game to make the most out of their time as long as both teams agree with only pitch counts being enforced to protect the kids. Games will be Saturday or Sunday and will be 90 minutes drop dead timed. For more details you can call the Dome or send an e-mail. The fitness center is now open. Fitness passes can be purchased for 1 day, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year. Customers with current fitness pass may use the grass field when not occupied (call ahead). Wyoming Valley Soccer Club

The Wyoming Valley Soccer Club continues to train and play in premier leagues and tournaments. The club presently is training indoor at the Dome.
